Nepal is the mountainous country with the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest. Along with eight highest peak above eight thousand, new six 8000ers has been recorded in Nepal. The number of highest peak above 8000 meters has increased with the update in Nepal himal peak profile in February 2025 AD. Eventhough, it is not officially approved by International mountaineering and Climbing federation (UIAA). Nepal Government is waiting for approval. The country has introduced all 14 peaks above eight thousand meter to all trekkers and climbers in the world through its webside: nepalhimalpeakprofile.org .
Yalung Khang is the second highest peak of Kanchenjunga massif. It is located in Phaktanglung rural municipality of Taplejung district. The peak positioned 1.1 km west of Kanchenjunga main peak and 1.3 km east of Yalungkhang west. The elevation of Yalung Khang is 8505 m/ 259232.4 feet which is only 11 meters shorter than Lhotse (8516 m).
Yalung Khang west is the 5th highest peak of the Kanchenjunga Mountain range. The peak is located in Phaktanglung Rural municipality, Taplejung district. It is 1.7 km southeast from Khanbachen and 1.3 km west of Yalungkhang.
Kanchenjunga central is the 8000ers of Kanchenjunga range. It lies in the boarder of Sirjanga rural municipality and Taplejung district of India and Nepal respectively. The peak is 0.8 km southeast of Kanchenjunga main and 0.5 km northwest of Kanchenjunga south.
Kanchenjunga south is one of the highest peaks standing to the north of main peak. It is located in Phaktanglung municipality, Taplejung district, Nepal. The expedition was done in 1978 AD by Polish team.
Lhotse middle is one of the highest peaks of Lhotse range. It is located in the khumjung village development Committee of Khumbu rural municipality. Bearing the high opportunity for climbers, the peak offers expedition since 2001 AD. It takes approximately 60 days to summit its peak.
Lhotse Shar is the eight thousander located on the south of Mt. Everest. It is one of the subsidiary peaks of Mount Lhotse. The peak lies in the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu rural municipality in Eastern Nepal.

Including the six new mountains, there are 14 eight thousanders in Nepal. Each of the 14 mountains are open for expedition. Even though the six new mountains are not listed as eight thousanders globally, but climbers are submitting the peak for gaining experience. Nepal Government is processing to present these new six mountains on international platform. The approval of additional six peaks would be milestone for increasing tourism in Nepal.
