What to expect
On the trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), numerous types of birds and animals can be seen, joyfully living in the forests and jungles. While you trek, you can appreciate amazing panoramic views of the snow-topped mountains of the Annapurna Range. Our first goal with this trip is reaching ABC, where we will be enamored by the surrounding 26,500 foot (8,000 meters) peaks. You will become mystified by the mountains, the tiny villages, the welcoming people, and the peace found in nature.
This ABC trek visits Poon Hill, which gives unmatched mountain views and countless ideal photograph opportunities. Through the ten day trip, there are some difficult days in order to achieve the height of 13,500 feet (4130 meters), including rough/steep trails. However, this trek is more than worth the sweat and sore muscles as this is one of the most satisfying Himalayan treks one can complete. Arriving at ABC will give you an overwhelming rush of bliss and adventure incomparable to anything in this world. To finish the trek, we continue down to Pokhara and stop at Jhinu where you can replenish your energy in the amazing natural hot springs.
