Dhulikhel
Dhulikhel (32 km from Kathmandu) is a quieter, less developed place to observe the high Himalayas, and the view easily competes with Nagarkot From the edge of the ridge, a stunning panorama of peak unfolds, from Langtang Liuung(7246m) in the huge bulk of Guri Shanker (7145m) and nearby Melugatse (7181m) and many more.
This has one big advantage over Nagarkot-its a real Newari town, with a temple-lined village square and like outside exposing tourist point of view.

Itinerary
After your arrival in Kathmandu airport our company member will welcome you and drop you to hotel. In the evening you will meet your guide and get briefing of the trek. You will have welcome dinner in the cultural restaurant.
You will enjoy your breakfast and drive to Sundarijal for an hour. The Kathmandu Rim Trek begins from Sundarijal. First day you will trek to Chisapani which takes around 4 hours. The bank of Bagmati River leads you to forest path. Enjoying the beauty of Shivapuri national park, small village - Mul kharka in the forest you will reach Chisapani. Amazing moutain view, Tamang people and their hospitality makes you trekking wonderful.
Today’s trek begins with delicious breakfast in Chisapani. The trial goes to the dense rhododendron forest, small settlements and temples. You can enjoy the amazing view of Langtang range, Ganesh himal, Mt. Everest and Local settlements during the walk. Around 7 hours of walk on the hills surrounding the Kathmandu valley you will reach Nagarkot.
We will wake up early in the morning for sunrise view from Nagarkot. Enjoying the coffee with sunrise view you can capture the amazing sunrise view from Nagarkot hill. After having breakfast we will trek down to Dhulikhel following the trial to Changunarayan, The historical temple Changunarayan is cultural heritage where you can see wonderful art and culture of Lichhavi dynasty. You will trek towards Dhulikhel through Pine trial, Newar settlements and off beaten path beyond the concrete road.
The wonderful view of mountain, forest and terrace landscape from Dhulikhel gives amazing scenery that you will remain capturing the moment.
After having breakfast in Dhulikhel we will drive back to Kathmandu in private car. You will pass Sanga Mahadev – The biggest statue of Lord Shiva in Kavrepalanchowk district, Bhaktapur district and reach Kathmandu after around 1.5 hours of drive.
Depending on your flight time our company member will drop you to airport. You will get your life time memory in this short trek near Kathmandu.

We will spend our nights at Chispani Nargarkot and Dhulikhel which is a famous hill satiation near Kathmandu Valley.
Yes you can do that, If you like to stay far from the crowded city and explore the lifestyle of Mook then we suggest you stay in Namobuddha Monastery. One thing is, it is really hard to get a room in a late reservation because of the limitation of rooms, Travelers book rooms 2 months prior to stay there but we can try to reserve a room. If not we can try Namobuddha Resort which is 30 Min ahead of the Monastery with a beautiful environment
