Manaslu Circuit Trek is the treasure of the Gorkha district, central region, Nepal. It is a new trekking route permitted by the Government of Nepal in 1992 AD. The serene natural beauty conserved under both Hindu and Buddhist cultures has made the Manaslu trek popular among trekkers. It is a perfect trek for those who love extreme peace.

The Manaslu route begins from Soti Khola, covering the Kathmandu-Gorkha distance of 76 km. The trail takes you to the bank of the deepest and longest river, George Budi Gandaki. You can enjoy the sub-tropical and alpine forest with blooming rhododendron, the tallest pine, cedar birch, and juniper. We will trek along the raised landscape from the lower elevation of Soti Khola (720 m) to the high, cold, and challenging route of Larkya La at 5152 m (17000 ft). It is definitely an adventurous trek, covering the Manaslu conservation elevation between 720 m and 5152 m. The trek offer panoramic view of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Ngadi Chuli, Himalchuli, Bouddha Himal, Annapurna range, and Siring ranges from different locations of the Manaslu trail is amazing.

Daily hiking on the Manaslu Circuit starts in the bumpy town of Sotikhola, 13.3 kilometers from Arughat. We will trek uphill along the powerful waterway, the Budigandaki, and reach Machhakhola. The trail continues up to the snow-capped vegetation and the wonderful landscape of Jagat. We can enjoy more Buddhism-affected Gurung culture. As we travel ahead, we can look up at the beautiful mountains in the villages of Sho, Lho, and Sama. The trekking route is more exciting before reaching Sama Gaon. You can enjoy the beautiful monasteries, temples, caves, sparkling lakes, and mind-blowing natural scenery on the trekking trail to Sama Gaon.

The highest elevation of the Manaslu circuit trek is Larkya La Pass, which joins Budhi Gandaki and Marshyangdi Valley. We can have an amazing view of Gandaki and Marshyangdi from Larkye La Pass. Trekking continues to the small settlements of Bimtang, Tilije, and Thonje villages, where we can enjoy the Tibetan, Gurung, and Tamang cultures. We will enter the Annapurna conservation area at the ending point of the trek. After passing Dharapani and Besisahar, we will drive back to Kathmandu.
