Whitewater rafting on the Trishuli River is a very popular activity when visiting Nepal. The Trishuli runs alongside the highway most of the way from Pokhara to Kathmandu. From this valley, you will see terraced rice fields, canyons, mountains, villages, and a range from class I rapids to class IV. There are different sections for different people, including a beginner/family section. The rapids are crazy enough to appreciate the sport, however, there are some lulls in between rapids in order to swim, splash, and play around!
As mentioned before, rafting on the Trishuli is easily accessible from Kathmandu. You may drive, grab a taxi, or take a local bus from Kathmandu down the highway towards Chitwan and Pokhara. We can also help you sort out transportation!
Whitewater rafting on the Trishuli River will definitely help you reach maximum adventure while visiting Nepal. You can choose which section to raft, as well as having the option for a single day or a multiple-day trip.
