Foreigners are the backbone tourism in Nepal. The world peace matters the most for smooth touristic flow in the country. Being a landlocked country between India and China, aircrafts are the ultimate means for easy transportation in Nepal. Middle east is the main transit points of aircraft from Europe and America. Therefore, disruption in scheduled flight is the direct impact of middle east conflict on tourism of Nepal.
Middle east conflict has increases instability on international airlines. Thousands of flights are being cancelled day by day since US-Israel war on Iran. The airspaces over Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Israel, Bahrain, the UAE and Qatar is affecting the flight in different parts of Asia which is directly decreasing international tourist in Nepal.
The booked flights from Europe, Australia, USA and many more countries with transit in Asian airports are beings cancelled and postponing. The scheduled trekking and expedition groups are directing affecting and cancelling their trips in Nepal.
The cancellation of flight and rebooking the flight, increase in oil prices and airlines fuel cost will increase the flight cost that directly makes the travel cost expensive.
Increase in oil cost will increase transportation cost and results in high rate of goods for day to life. This will create economic crisis as long term impact.
The conflict is disrupting our mental peace. The uncertain attacks is creating frightful environment that is not letting to move out from home country to other places. It is one of reason that will negatively effects on tourism worldwide.
Tourism in Nepal will have a direct impact of the Middle East conflict. March, April amd May is the peak season, and cancellation of booked trips is disappointing to trekking agencies. New beginnings after the Gen-Z protest are ongoing, and we are again being victimized due to uncertain conflicts in the world.
