The recent gen Z protest on September 8 has changed the history of Nepal by making the environment violent for a day. The burning of governmental properties, voilence and people’s movement has raised a question that Is Nepal safe to Travel? The media and web have spread the news in such a way that many countries are advising to avoid non-essential travel in Nepal. What is the current situation of Nepal after the Gen Z protest?
Beside the widespread news, the situation of Nepal is in control now. It is safe to travel Nepal. The interim government of Nepal was formed on 12th September 2025; after that, regular life is ongoing. All Nepalese are having a peaceful environment and being ready for the upcoming election on March 5, 2026.
The burnt public properties are under maintenance, and construction work is ongoing. The interim government cabinet is set up. Highly educated people with nonpolitical backgrounds have been selected for ministry.

Gen Z protest runs for two days only in Nepal. The situation was dangerous in September 8, and as soon as the prime minister resigned, the country was under the protection of army Chief. Later on curfew was announced for three days and ended with the formation of interim government. The situation of Nepal is peaceful from September 9 and onwards. Governmental agencies, Police and army are on duty and it is safe for trekking and tour in Nepal.
