Overview
The Pikey Peak Trek is one of the shortest and best Himalayan hiking trails in the Solukhumbu region. This trek is a recently opened trek which gives the most bang for your buck as well as the most adventure in just a few short days. You will appreciate the stunning, all-encompassing views of the different mountains of Khumbu region including Everest (8848m), Kanchenjunga (8586m), Makalu (8463m), Lhotse (8414m) and many other snow-covered peaks. The outstanding view of sunrise and sunset from the peak gives a unique experience.
Plus, you will experience inviting towns and villages full of Sherpa culture and celebration. Furthermore, you will see a wide variety of landscapes with wildlife, trees, plants, and animals. This is the perfect trek for experienced hikers and travellers, as well as beginners to it all.
What To Expect?
Trekkers will start after reaching Dhap bazar via driving from the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. Next, we will hike through the lower Khumbu region which provides scenic beauty of the great Himalayas of the world including Mount Everest (8848m).
Pikey Peak trek (4065 meters)Â offers the view of thick forests decorated with the various colors of rhododendron- the national flower of Nepal, as well as orchids and magnolias. We will also trek through quaint, remote villages rich in Buddhist culture and passion decorated with old monasteries and huge mani walls. The outstanding beauty of the place and shortest route and the panoramic view of the Himalayas attract number of tourists. Remarkable sunrise and sunset view from pikey peak is another attraction that gives an image of the Everest and Himalayan ranges of the Khumbu region.
Since the trek has the shortest route, we can complete the whole trek within 7-9 days.
