Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal. It is 27.709025° N and 86.867781° E in Everest region. It is a day expedition without a mountain climbing permit. Mera Peak climbing in Nepal is an 18-day package with two-way trekking from Lukla to Mera Peak base camp. Climbing Mera Peak is moderate to difficult but it is technical than Kilimanjaro. Even a beginner can also climb the summit from Mera High camp. Directly climbing the peak is risky. Thus, we should spend some days on trekking to acclimatize in the Khumbu region. We will pass beautiful places of Solukhumbu, such as Paiya, Panggom, Chhatra, Khote, Tangnang, and Khare, before reaching Mera Peak High Camp.
