For breakfast, you can have Tea, coffee, porridge & muesli with milk and sugar, bread items, egg items, curry items, hot chocolates, hot lemon, bakery items, etc. In Lunch and dinner, Nepali thali (rice, dal, curry, pickle, pappad, and salad) is most preferable as Nepali thali is a hygienic and complete balanced diet. You can also have momo, chowmein, sizzler, soup, Pizza, spaghetti, pancake, noodles, and many more from the menu of your choice.
We suggest to take only hot drinks and exclude hard drinks during your trek. You could be unable to continue trek if you intake hard drinks. Tea, coffee, hot water, hot lemon, milk, hot chocolates, fruit juice, can juice are easily available and best to intake frequently.
Pure water is available throughout the trek. To hydrate yourself and maintain body temperature you should drink enough water. We suggest having as hot water as possible. Bring a water bottle with you so that you can fill up before leaving tea houses.
You can charge your gadget in all tea houses but have to pay extra for it. Charging is available in the dining hall not in your bedroom. In some tea houses, you have to pay per hour of charging, and in some tea houses per gadget.
The paying system of charging is due to a lack of hydroelectricity and dependency on inverter or solar energy.
Hot shower is available in most of the teahouse but you have to pay extra for it. At high altitudes, taking shower may not be possible due to frozen water.
In the Everest base camp trek, the low air pressure and less oxygen amount in the atmosphere may cause altitude sickness. To adapt your body to the changing environment, the trip will be arranged in such a way that your body will automatically acclimatize. A rest day after few days of trek is for acclimatizing your body. You will have 2-3 days as a rest day in your entire trek. If it does not become sufficient then rest days will be added seeing your body condition. After a continuous trek, it is very important to take a rest day for preventing altitude sickness.
Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, private car for pick and drop from airport to hotel and walking throughout the trek comes under transportation. Sometimes flights can delay, post pond for the next day or even cancel due to weather. In such a condition, we have to wait for good weather and the next flight.

Once-in-a-lifetime trip!from TaiwanFebruary 26, 2023It's a spectacular trip, and hard to describe the experience unless you were there. I'm fortunate to have Damu as my trekking guide, which I didn't know when I booked this trip online in advance. I'm very grateful that we eventually made it to the EBC(Everest Base Camp) after going through a strong sandstorm and drizzle snowing in late December. Damu is a well-trained local with rich trekking experiences in the Himalayas; he speaks English, communicates well, and is reliable. He will be the guy taking care of you in the Himalayas.Date of Experience: December, 2016
